Cette semaine a lieu à Montréal la Réunion Conjointe de l’AGC-AGU-AMC-UGC .

Daniel Fortier, Etienne Godin et Fred Bouchard présentait hier une session (présentations orales et par affiches) intitulée Dynamics of Permafrost Regions in a Warming World: Processes, Landforms, Biogeosystems I .

Manuel Verpaelst y a d’ailleurs présenté son projet de maitrise : Mass Movement by solifluction and Syngenetic Dynamic of Permafrost in the High Arctic, Ward Hunt Island, Canadian High Arctic.

Sabine Veuille et Katerine Grandmont ont présenté au cours de cette même session 2 affiches intitulées Quantifying Heat Advection by Groundwater Flow in the Active Layer: Laboratory Simulations et Impact of Land Cover Disturbances on Permafrost Landscapes in Yukon, Case Studies .

Lyna Lapointe Elmrabti a aussi présentée une affiche dans le cadre de la conférence : Paleoenvironmental records from alaskan Late Pleistocene yedoma permafrost : A case study from the Itkillik river .
